Blue, blue skies.
Not even a hint of a cloud in the sky.
Everything green and fresh.
53F at the start; 83F at the finish.
Just perfect for a ride.
So that's what I did.
Went for a ride.
With a rando fracquaintance.
We enjoyed the day.
Chatted a fair bit about our respective needs to vary our cycling routes.
And we took an entire hour more than we have sometimes taken.
We REALLY enjoyed the day.

YTD tot: _75 rides; 6,399.7 m.; 430h06; 14.9 mph; 6656 RUSA kms. And today had a hell of lot better outcome than 11 years ago on this date -- when I was headed north on I-95, intending to loop the Pentagon and then back-track a few miles to my destination (that was the fastest way to get to a place a few miles south of the 5-sided-building). You might be able to guess that I never made it as far as the Pentagon.
